Easy Glass Clover Ring Tutorial
Today I am sharing a super easy clover ring I made with a green sharpie and a glass gem from the Dollar Store. Since you can get a large bag of these gems from the Dollar Store, this would make a nice frugal gift for a girls St. Patties party. You can even use an old birthday card for the card stock, like I did.
Here is all you need:
Clear Glass Gems
Green Permanent Marker
Thick Card Stock Any Lighter Color You Like
Scissors or a 1 inch circle scrap-booking punch
Cut out your card stock the size of your gem, ours was 1 inch round. You want a very thick card stock to reduce bleed through of glue. You could draw the clover on your card stock, but I went ahead and drew it on the back side (flat side) of the gem. I thought this might help avoid bleeding of the ink from the glue on the paper. Then glue your ring blank to the back of your card stock. Then apply a generous layer of glue to the top of your card stock, and glue the flat side (the side with the clover on it) of your gem down. You will want to let it dry for 72 hours before you wear it.
Hope you all have fun plans for St. Patrick's Day coming up.
