Versatile 3 Ingredient No Bake Nutter Butter Balls

These Nutter Butter Balls are a great alternative to a traditional baked Christmas cookie. They taste similar to a Recess Peanut Butter Cup, with extra peanut butter filling.  They are inspired by Oreo Balls. All you need is one package of cream cheese, Nutter Butter Cookies, and Chocolate Morsels. The great thing about this recipe, you may mix it up, and use different varieties of flavored sweet cream cheese, or different flavors of morsels, to make an array of sweet treats.  This recipe will make 20 generous size balls.  I used fat free cream cheese, because it's what I had on hand, and they still tasted delicious.

Nutter Butter Balls
Makes 20

8 oz. of cream cheese in plain or any sweet flavor you like (regular, reduced fat, or fat free all work)

1 Package of Nutter Butter Cookies
1 Package of Chocolate Morsels (or any other flavor of morsels you like)

In a food processor, ground cookies until fine. Then blend with cream cheese. Roll into 20 even sized balls. Melt morsels according to package directions. This will take only a short time in the microwave, be careful not to burn.  Roll balls in melted chocolate, and set on parchment paper to cool. Store in refrigerator, in an air tight container.

What flavor of cream cheese, and morsels, will you use in this recipe? I am thinking the next time I make them, I will use strawberry cream cheese, and white morsels, yum!
