Teri's Memorial Day Butterscotch Bars

 I am happy to be back here at Bacon Time with the Hungry Hypo visiting with Mindie and all of you! It's almost Memorial Day and I thought these bars would be a fun way to start off the summer! It's time for fun, sun and picnics with lots of great friends and food! These Memorial Day Butterscotch Bars come together quickly and are the perfect treat for your get togethers!

Memorial Day Butterscotch Bars

1 cup packed Brown Sugar

1 cup Butter, softened

1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

1 Egg

2 cups Flour

1/2 cup Light Corn Syrup

2 tablespoons Butter

1/2 package Butterscotch Morsels

1 1/2 cups-2 cups total of red chocolate chips,

blue mini m and m's, white star marshmallows, and nuts

Watermelon Margarita With Only 4 Ingredients

This margarita is super easy and refreshing. It will be perfect for your next Summer BBQ. 

Ingredients:

Makes 2 Large Margaritas

3 Cups of Seedless Watermelon Chilled and Cubed

1 Shot of Triple Sec Orange Liquor

2 Shots of Silver Tequila 

1 Shot of Roses Sweetened Lime Juice

Directions:

May be served over the rocks or blended with ice. 

If serving over the rocks, blend all of your ingredients together and pour over ice. Otherwise blend all of your ingredients including a few handfuls of ice together in blender. Garnish with watermelon or lime, optional. 

Berry Patriotic Jello Shots for Adults

I was reminiscing, trying to remember when I had my last jello shot.  I know I had one, well maybe a few, oh who am I kidding, a lot, in college.  I can't recall having them any other time.  Seeing that I graduated from college back in 1999, I would say I am over due for a fun jello shot. Jello shots are great when entertaining. It's a small cocktail and dessert, all in one easy to make, and clean up package.  How about celebrating this coming 4th of July with one Berry Patriotic Jello Shot.  I made mine in  red  clear Solo cups, looking pretty, and being easy to serve.  I kept mine on the lighter side using some sugar free jello and light whipped topping.
Each jello shot has a little over 1 ounce of flavored vodka in it, making it smaller then a typical shot, which is equal to 1 1/2 ounces. Please enjoy responsibly
