I bought the plates and bowl at Walmart for about two dollars a piece. The candle holders
were extra I had on hand, but you can find similar candle holders and plates at the dollar store.
This project took literally 30 seconds to complete. I am glad I only hot glued the small plate and the
bowl to the tops of the candle holders. This way I can separate the pieces if I like. Of course I am not
going to risk the dish washer, but probably could. If it were to come apart, I could just take another 30 seconds and glue it back together. This would be a fun project to use up miss matched incomplete sets of plates, often found at yard sales.

I like the option of separating them. I have one from the 50's and it is my favorite serving piece, but I do wish it came apart sometimes. Now I can just make one! I don't know why this never crossed my mind! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteMind joining one more linky party?
I am starting my own linky party ToDaY! It's the first one. I would love it if you would participate! It's called $10 Tuesdays and it's for things that cost less than $10 and take 20-30 mins (ish) to complete. I love inexpensive and quick projects and I'm guessing others will too ;) Thanks so much for considering.
