Hi everyone! My baby Lucas turned 5 this week! I guess he's not really a baby anymore. It seems like it was only a couple years ago, I was going through fertility treatments, to try and conceive a 2nd child. Now he's almost ready for Kindergarten. Oh how I love this little guy, he has such a great sense of humor for someone his age. He truly enriches each one of my days. Love youbaby I mean big guy.
Just a quick update on my breast cancer. I had a great appointment with my doctor on Monday. She reassured me everything would be fine. I am now waiting to see three new specialists she has referred me to. A Medical Oncologist, Radiation Oncologist, and Genetic Counselor, will help me decide my current treatment, and future preventative medicine. Unfortunately we do not have a radiation treatment center in our small town. It looks like I will be doing a lot of commuting over the next couple months. I will most likely need to make a 3 hour round trip, 5 days a week, for 7 weeks, to get my therapy. It will be well worth it though, radiation will bring my odds of a repeat cancer down substantially. Thanks again for all the love, I will keep you all posted on my treatment, as things progress.
